BlackStores

Black Stores — top darknet marketplaces 2026

A directory of the darknet stores worth knowing about in 2026. Seven operators on the shortlist, every one of them continuously reachable on Tor, every one of them publishing PGP-signed mirror rotations on Dread. No newcomers, no exit-scam relaunches, no clearnet bridges.

Nexus Market logo

Nexus Market

since 2023 · 3 mirrors

Nexus Market. English UI, running since '23. BTC + LTC + XMR. The login captcha bakes the real onion into the image so phishing clones can't fake it. Three live mirrors, all signed-announced on Dread.

BTC · LTC · XMR

Anubis Market logo

Anubis Market

since 2024 · 3 mirrors

Anubis Market. English, '24. BTC + LTC + ETH + XMR. The only operator on this list with native Ethereum — no bridge, no swap. Form-field names rotate on every page load to break automation.

Osiris Market logo

Osiris Market

since 2024 · 3 mirrors

Osiris Market. English, '24. BTC + XMR. Built for availability — three live onions at all times, rotation when one gets hammered.

BTC · XMR

Crown Market logo

Crown Market

since 2024 · 2 mirrors

Crown Market. English, '24. BTC + XMR. Doesn't use the same template codebase as everybody else — it has its own UI. PGP messaging on by default for vendor threads (saves you from forgetting).

BTC · XMR

Mars Market logo

Mars Market

since 2023 · 3 mirrors

Mars Market. English, '23. BTC + LTC + XMR. The other LTC-accepting market on this list besides Nexus and Anubis. Three live onions, always.

Awazon Market logo

Awazon Market

since 2024 · 3 mirrors

Awazon Market. English, '24. BTC + XMR. Looks like a real online store — categories, product cards, search, the whole deal. Three live onions.

WeTheNorth (WTN)

since 2021 · 3 mirrors

WeTheNorth. WTN for short. Online since '21 — longest-running here. EN/FR bilingual. BTC + XMR. Canadian buyer focus, domestic shipping by default. Three live onions.

What counts as a black market store here

BlackStores doesn't list every onion claiming to be a marketplace. A store gets a listing here only if it has been continuously reachable on the Tor network for at least 90 days, settles in Monero (the privacy default for hidden-service commerce), runs multi-mirror v3 onion endpoints, and publishes mirror rotations as detached-PGP-signed posts on the Dread forum. Operators that don't sign their announcements aren't on the list regardless of how many followers they have on Reddit or how active their Telegram channel is. Signed posts are the only authoritative source for whether a given onion belongs to the operator it claims to belong to.

Avoiding the cloned dark store

The largest single category of money lost on darknet stores in 2026 isn't exit scams or law-enforcement seizures — it's phishing clones. Somebody copies the store's UI, ranks for the store name on a search engine, and intercepts your credentials plus your first deposit. The mitigation is mechanical: never reach a store through a search-engine result, always type or paste from a verified source (this directory, or the operator's signed Dread post), and verify the full 56-character v3 fingerprint before submitting credentials. Partial-prefix matches are a known phishing tactic.

Payment options across the dark stores tracked here

All seven stores accept Monero natively. All accept Bitcoin. Three (Nexus, Anubis, Mars) accept Litecoin. One (Anubis) accepts Ethereum natively. Bitcoin is the legacy option, fine for vendor compatibility but with the well-known privacy trade-off that the BTC ledger is permanent and publicly searchable. Monero hides amounts, sender and receiver at the protocol layer — if privacy is why you are on Tor, XMR is the default and there is no reason to use anything else without a vendor-specific reason. Litecoin is useful when small deposits would be eaten by BTC fees.
